It seems like women (especially women of color) leaders are expected to answer all the personal questions and to share all the inner details about their lives, their fashion choices, what they make for meals etc. I'd love for women to have the freedom to be in the public eye without having to overshare, but I'm not sure the media or folks we lead would let us do that. Seen too many instances where women having boundaries about these more personal sides of their life are seen as "cold" or "inauthentic" as a result.

1000%. Who has permission to be authentic and have boundaries is a huge part of what I write about in my book! There is no simple answer.
